I actually logged on to m.s.n after so long.3482837691906736 light years, to be exact.

I never was, and am not a(I think it should be "an") msn kind of person.

Anw I suddenly rmbred what was being said during last week's sermon & I think I needa keep this in mind when I check my life from time to time [:
Not everything that we chase after is bad, but everything that is weighed above God becomes a burden.I think this includes food. Sadly, but yes ):
For me, at least.
I'm rather ashamed to say that I haven't been v faithful w fasting..
Even haggling once w cleo, because I wanted to eat mushroom.
Hahaha sounds rly stupid but yeah, that's one of the things I'm fasting from.
It seems like an insignificant incident,
But it rly just reflects the condition of my heart.
Food? Or God?
I chose food, then.
You can even put it this way:
At that point of time, God couldn't even be compared to mushrooms.
Heartbreaking right..? But I guess that's the message we send to our Daddy God whenever we place significance for something over Him ):
Today I haggled w myself for a rather long time over this issue too. Hahaha and I've made a promise to God to be faithful w fasting simply because He deserves more than this.
Okay these are the things I'm fasting from: Mushrooms, cheesecake, sushi.
Please hold me accountable ok??
Whenever you see me eating any of these, give me a sla... No that's too heavy God won't like you to do this to me tsk. Ha just remind me [:
Hehe this will be a tough battle for me but my God will gei wo li liang! I know that when I'm faithful, God will be faithful too(; So yes, when fruits come, victory will be sweet so yes, satan, you just watch!
And I ever heard of this: Money is given to us so that it'll be plain to the world that it is not our treasure, but Christ is. So I guess for me, Food is given to me so that it'll be plain to the world that food is not my treasure, but Christ is.
Till then, I guess the stall4 aunty won't be hearing this for a long time... "Aunty, mushroom chicken kuey teow w/o chicken!"
